Renting a bike is the best way to get around Cairns – it is small, flat and compact!
Cairns Sharehouse offers bikes available for rent exclusively for inhouse guests, perfect for guests looking to stay a few weeks without the hassle of buying a bike in Cairns.
There are hundreds of bike paths to explore connecting the city to waterfalls, gardens, beaches and rainforest.

How do I book?
Its easy – for our inhouse guest just send us an email to prebook a bike.
If you do not live at Cairns Sharehouse, please ring us on 0412 318 519 the day before to check availability.
Pick up and collection time is between Monday-Friday from 12-5 pm unless pre-arranged with Cairns Sharehouse team.

Terms & Conditions
Bikes must be signed in and out at the CSH Office during office hours.
Guest must pay deposit of $190.00 to return bike in full working condition undamaged including helmet and 1 lock.
If bike is stolen, lost or damage, the $190.00 is non refundable.
This will be refunded within 48 hours of return.
Rental must be paid in advance upon collection of bike. Minimum 1 week rental for inhouse guests and 4 weeks for non inhouse guests.
- CSH is not responsible for maintenance of the bike during the use of the guest.
If the bike requires repair (e.g tyre repair) we recommend Trinity Cycles who charge from $15.00 service fee.
CSH will provide 1 lock however it is the responsibility of the guest to use the lock at all times and we recommend keeping bicycles in your rooms and/or purchasing additional locks. REMOVE the light from the top of the bike bar handles when not in use to prevent theft/loss.
- By law all cyclists/bikes must follow the same road rules as a car.
We do not recommend guests cycle at night without using lights and reflective clothing.
CSH is not liable for any accidents and we recommend all guests follow road rules and have medical cover.
In the event of theft, the guests must advise CSH and report to the police if they wish to claim on their personal insurance.
