Cairns Sharehouse is a great place to stay and much more convenient than a backpacker hostel. It works out cheaper to live there and you have so much more including a kitchen, bathroom and your own bedroom! We really felt at home, the staff were friendly and the people great – we are sad to leave.

I wanted to let you know that seven of us who all used to lived together all met up in Paris a couple of months ago for a wee reunion. There were Germans, Finnish, English, French and me the only Irish. We had had a cracker time and I thought you might like to know that we have all kept in touch.

Cairns Sharehouse was a great alternative to hostel life. We still met loads of new people and attnded social events, whilst also have our own privacy. The sharehouses are friendly, relaxed and homely and we met many new friends here. I was also given the opportunity to work for Cairns Sharehouse which helped us save money for our onward travel plans. I would recommend Cairns Sharehouse to anyone, particularly couples travelling together.

My sister Caleigh and I (and one friend each) spent 3 weeks at 67 Minnie - had a great time with you guys and really enjoyed the place. While there we had a night out with others from the Sharehouses.  . You guys were a real pleasure to rent from.  And we still talk about how nice the house was.  Couldn't have had a better experience! I hope business goes well.

I sincerely thank everyone at Cairns Sharehouse, they were all so very friendly. They are always available when needed and as the local taxi driver told me "It is be best run share-house in Cairns". I agree, it is so well run and it is secure with our own security keys. I had a wonderful time, it was great to share with people from different parts of our world, enjoying their company and learning about their corner of the world. I had my own room and it was very pleasant. It was within walking distance from the City. I am now going every year and will stay at Cairns Sharehouse. They booked my tour and asked me for feedback after, which I thought was great. I loved the fact that I had company in a very comfortable setting. As for the cleaners - and our maintenance man, they did a brilliant job. I can recommend Cairns Sharehouse to you all.

''Where do I start.... I had been backpacking for 8 months moving constantly to hostels, I wanted just a little bit of home, something a bit stable but still fun. I moved to sharehouse and instantly thought, oh yeh I like this, it clean, tidy, has a pool and there was lots of friendly flatmates! I met some AMAZING PEOPLE and Yes I mean you Cat, Chanelle, Aude and Auriele! These people became my family, friends, stylists and therapists!!! Working with sharehouse was excellent too as everyone I worked with was so easy going and fun. My experience in Cairns is totally unforgettable :)

I absolutely loved my sharehouse. It's Queenslander style and charm. My housemates were from so many different cultures and became like a big multicultural family for me here in Cairns.
