Bike Hire
The easiest way to get around Cairns is to buy a secondhand bike. We recommend purchasing a bike through 'Jim' our bike man which usually costs $70 - $90 per bike. Jim will pick you up from the Cairns Share house office at a convenient time and take you to his workshop where you can select your bike. Then when you sell you bike back to Jim, he will give you up to 50% of your money back - what a great way to save money! Jim does not work everyday so visit the Cairns Share house office for more information on buying a bike .
Tour Suggestions
All tenants receive up to 10% discount on any tours booked in the office - this is for you and your friends! We recommend that you plan your free weekends in advance so that we can ensure that you get out and experience the best Cairns has to offer. There is so much to do and see when you are in Cairns. Apart from the huge choice of tours from skydiving to rainforest walks, the city itself offers lots of free and fun activities every day of the week.

Receiving mail & parcels
When you checked in we would have provided you with a copy of your contract. On this contract is your address to receive any mail or parcels. Please use this address for your mail but remember to redirect your mail when you leave with the local post office.
If you are expecting any large, important parcels, please feel free to use the office address (17 Scott Street, Cairns Qld 4870) and we can let you know when it has arrived.
Any parcels that are sent to the share house address will automatically be re-directed to the Cairns Share house office anyway if they are too large for the mailbox.
Working in Cairns
We have a dedicate Jobs Officer who contacts over 20 local businesses each week listing jobs for our inhouse students and backpackers. Make sure you join our 'Jobs Club' so we can email out to you new jobs each week and check out the Jobs Board in the office. Click here for more tips on finding work in Cairns.

If there any problems with your room, apartment or flatmates, please let us know. We are more than happy to fix any problems however if you do not report a problem then we are unable to help you. Please contact us on 0412 318 519 or text us and we can call you back.
